Is parking available at your location?
While we do not have dedicated parking at our location, street parking can be found along Centre Street and adjacent streets. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find parking to ensure a stress-free arrival for your appointment.

What does Orā mean?
In French Polynesia, Monoï accompanies every individual from birth to old age and has a special importance for the inhabitants of the islands. It was therefore important for us to name our brand in the most representative way to honor the importance that monoi has for the people. This is why we chose "Orā", which means "to live" in Tahitian.

How do I offer gratuity?
You will have the opportunity to leave a gratuity after your treatment. Gratuity is not included in the original price of your treatment.
What should I bring to my treatment?
- Mata: Just your beautiful smile. No need to bring anything else! We have everything covered.
- Fare: Please bring a swimsuit for the bath portion of the treatment. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing to your treatment.

We will provide slippers, a bathrobe, and all other necessities to offer the most tranquil experience.

Our skincare experts will select the best products based on your specific needs, using the Danish brand Nuori, combined with Orā’s best-sellers.

Do you take walk-ins?
Unfortunately, we operate by appointment only to ensure the best experience for our guests. Please book your appointment in advance to secure your spot.
Can multiple people get treatments at the same time?
Our treatment room can only accommodate one person at a time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are pleased to offer a variety of payment options for your convenience. Our accepted methods include all major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay, ensuring a smooth and flexible transaction process.
Are your treatments pregnancy-safe?
All our treatments are designed to be safe and beneficial during pregnancy. We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns, to ensure our services align perfectly with your unique needs during this special time.
Can I bring my children to the appointment?
While we cherish the joy and vibrancy that children bring, we strive to maintain a tranquil atmosphere for all our clients during treatments. Therefore, we respectfully request that you arrange for child care elsewhere during your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us preserve a serene environment for everyone's relaxation and enjoyment.
What aftercare should I follow post-treatment?
Our treatments are designed to allow you to return to your daily activities immediately, leaving you feeling refreshed and glowing. However, to enhance and prolong the benefits of your treatment, we recommend tailored aftercare for each type of service:
- Mata: We advise a gentle skincare routine on the day of your appointment to nurture your skin.
- Fare: Alongside a gentle skincare routine, we recommend prioritizing rest on the day of your treatment to maximize its rejuvenating effects.
- Toa: To ensure the best results, maintaining hydration and avoiding strenuous physical activity for the rest of the day post-treatment is beneficial.
These simple steps can help extend the radiant effects of your treatment and ensure your skin receives the best care possible.
What is the recommended waiting period after injections or intensive facial treatments?
For those who have recently undergone facial injections or other intensive skincare treatments, we advise allowing a recovery period to ensure the best possible outcomes with our services:
- Mata & Fare: It's recommended to wait at least two weeks following any fillers or intensive facial treatments. This pause allows your skin to fully heal and integrate the benefits of the previous procedures, ensuring the most effective and safest experience with our treatments.
- Toa: There is no required waiting period. You are welcome to book a Toa treatment at any time, as it's designed to be gentle and suitable even for post-treatment care.
We prioritize your skin's health and safety, and these guidelines help to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit from our services while maintaining the integrity of your skin's condition.
How often should I get a treatment done?
- Mata & Fare: Our facial treatments enhance muscle tone and circulation, providing workout-like stimulation for the face. Similar to regular exercise, consistent sessions are key to achieving and sustaining results. While facials can be scheduled as often as once a week, we recommend an ideal frequency of once a month.
- Toa: The ideal frequency for getting a massage can vary depending on individual needs and specific health goals. However, a general guideline is to consider scheduling a massage once a month for overall wellness. You may discuss a more tailored frequency with your massage therapist, who can provide personalized recommendations based on your individual circumstances.
Do I need to come in bare-faced?
No particular preparation is mandatory, we have everything necessary to take off all makeup and cleanse thoroughly. However, very heavy or waterproof makeup may require more time to fully remove.
What should I avoid before my treatment?
- Mata & Fare: Prior to a facial treatment, it is generally recommended to limit sun exposure and exfoliation. Avoid waxing, trying new products or receiving other facial treatments at least a week before your appointment.
- Toa: Prior to a massage, it is generally recommended to limit caffeine and alcohol intake. Avoid eating a heavy meal and performing intense workouts the day of your appointment.
Is the treatment relaxation or education-focused?
Our treatments aim to seamlessly blend deep relaxation while offering guidance to enhance your well-being. While some conversation is essential for delivering an optimal service, the specialist will ensure that your preferences regarding communication are honored.
What is dry brushing?
Dry brushing is a skin exfoliation technique involving the use of a firm, natural-bristle brush on dry skin. This centuries-old practice stimulates circulation, promotes lymphatic drainage, and exfoliates the skin, revealing a smoother skin texture.
Is there a minimum recommended age for a treatment?
Given that our treatments are gentle and non-invasive, it's typical for individuals to embark on their wellness journey with us in their teenage years.

Cancellation policy
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to receive a full refund within 3-5 business days. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will not be eligible for a refund.
Reschedule policy
If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment cannot be accommodated, so please plan accordingly.
If I arrive late, can I still get my treatment?
We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and we are committed to providing the utmost flexibility to assist you. Should there be available slots, we will endeavor to seamlessly integrate your appointment without impacting others. In the event of delays, kindly inform us by calling (514) 600-5821. Please note, for delays exceeding 15 minutes, it may be necessary to arrange a new appointment time.

Can I use my treatment gift card for other services or products, including online purchases?
Absolutely! Your gift card's value is versatile and can be applied towards any treatment of your choice, not just the one originally gifted. Want to indulge in our range of products instead? Feel free to use your gift card towards any products of your choosing, both in our boutique and online. Our gift cards offer the flexibility to enjoy our services and products exactly how you wish.

Where can I find your products?
Our products are available online on www.theoraway.com, at our retail partners and in our boutique, 2471 Centre Street, Montréal. Visit our social media, our website and subscribe to our newsletter to be notified of the various points of sale that will be added.
How long can I keep my products?
The expiration date is indicated on each container in addition to the lot number. It is also possible to confirm the shelf life of the product after opening using the pictogram of the small open jar. For example, you can store Monoï Oil for 24 months after first use.
Where should I store my products?
It is best to store them at room temperature.
Can Monoï Oil be applied to oily skin?
Yes, Orā’s Monoï Oil can be applied to oily skin, but we recommend that you limit its application to once a day. You should know that our formula is a dry oil. It therefore easily penetrates the skin so as not to leave a greasy finish.
Are your products vegan?
Orā’s Monoï Oil is not considered vegan since honey is used in the formula.
Are your products organic?
The vast majority of the ingredients used in Orā’s Monoï Oil are certified organic.
Where are your products made?
We are proud that our products are imagined in Canada and created directly in French Polynesia, very close to the very place where Tiare flowers are grown and picked. We are delighted to work with local producers and professionals to offer a modern formula that respects tradition and environment.
